Overture in a new look!

After several years of absence, Venlo's cultural institutions are jointly organizing an overture to the new cultural season on Sunday, September 15. However, in a slightly different form than what people are used to, because instead of performances in the city center, all cultural institutions will open their own doors* to the public during the Overture. Between 12:00 and 17:00, everyone gets the chance to get acquainted with the diverse cultural offerings Venlo has to offer, free of charge.

Maaspoort anniversary year

Next summer Maaspoort celebrates its 40th anniversary, so an extra thick Maaspoort Magazine will be hitting the mat this season. With as many as 220 shows, the theater is ambitiously betting on the anniversary year, so extra performances have been booked.

Maaspoort Venlo bustling into summer with Scheuten rooftop bar

Maaspoort in Venlo welcomes Venlo residents and visitors to its Scheuten rooftop bar starting Saturday, July 13. This rooftop terrace is a unique location because of its beautiful view of the Maas River and Venlo's city center. Until at least September, the rooftop terrace will be open every weekend, on Saturday evenings from four to eleven, on Sunday afternoons from two to eight.
